Thanks to its five areas of expertise, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities plays a major role in educating the young people who will shape tomorrow’s world. Here, our students develop knowledge and skills in Psychology, Literature, Culture and Communication, Media (through the MediaLab and the radio and video studios at the Catholic University of Lille), and Languages and International Studies (through CLARIFE—the Language Center of Université Catholique de Lille)

Equipped with a TV set, two radio studios, and state-of-the-art equipment, the MediaLab is the go-to place for educational innovation in the audiovisual field. As such, every discipline and every student may find the opportunities offered by the MediaLab of interest.

Clarife: Foreign Languages and Intercultural Studies

With its renowned, multicultural team, CLARIFE is a multifaceted center of expertise. It offers foreign language courses to all students, allowing them to round out their education with a third or fourth language—a skill that sets them apart on their résumés! Students can prepare for and take several language tests and certifications on campus at La Catho, including French as a Foreign Language (FLE)—an essential skill for international students on campus. CLARIFE also welcomes professionals and members of the general public who wish to improve their proficiency in 17 foreign languages!
