The Masters degree in Digital Heritage Studies is intended for future managers in the heritage industry in the widest possible sense of the term. It teaches students how to create, manage and use digital tools in order to bring cultural artefacts, documents, sites etc. to the general public. Graduates will be able to work in all areas of the heritage industry or in the cultural domain.
Our national, regional or world heritage includes building, documents, sites, art, areas of natural beauty or even abstract customs and practices. They belong to us all. Managing these and bringing them to the attention of the public in an intercultural context requires a particular set of skills, particularly in the digital domain. Those who work in this area need to have a good knowledge of our heritage, history and arts as well as advanced computer skills.
